After a holiday to America six years ago, Ashley fell in love with the NYC staple BAGELS! Since then, he has eaten a lot of great American food here in Adelaide...so after many attempts of mastering the bagel process, he thought it would be a waste not to share this great product with us all.
Bagel Street bakes and boils fresh and traditional bagels, which are ALL made with a traditional 24 hour recipe and are fresh EVERY day! They offer a range of classic fillings as well as popular sweet bagels that include lots of Nutella! There is also a side menu that consists of baked chocolate chip cookies stuffed with either Cherry Ripe, Mars Bar or Oreos that are a must have!
The 24 hour recipe includes resting the dough for a day . They are then boiled and baked in the morning before trade begins. Their stuffed cookies are also baked fresh and are a must have if you love chocolate and want to have your mind blown (YUM).
Ashley is motivated to grow Bagel Street so that he can offer customers a food experience that reminds them of their travels to America; as well as introducing this different type of bread to people who have never experienced a fresh bagel. There are unlimited flavours and fillings that can be made and he has a passion for attempting different things that you will not find elsewhere... he is hoping to open a cafe in the future too.
Ashley is very passionate about the bagels he makes and loves to see the results of owning his own business. Knowing exactly how far he has come and what he has achieved is a great feeling when it all just started from an idea.
